What is not covered by any insurance

– Damages due traffic law violation.
– Damages due to inappropriate driving or negligence.
– Damages that caused because the driver was driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
– Damages caused by an unauthorized driver.
– Damages in the interior of the car.
– Loss or damage or theft of keys

– Loss or Damages of the vehicle’s child seats, jack, safety triangle, spare wheel, petrol cap.
– Damages to the engine by wrong fuel.
– Damages that caused because the vehicle was used off road or in not appropriate roads.
– Damages that caused after the agreed return time.
– Damages that caused willfully or recklessly by the renter e.g.(during the clutch, burning out the tires, sitting or standing on the bonnet, or the roof or the boot lid of the vehicle.

We rented a Fiat Panda with Sterling Rentals for our stay in Crete. Upon arrival, a short rental agreement was completed, we got the full insurance (without excess) and we paid for the car in cash. The car was also briefly inspected with us and any scratches, bumps etc were noted. We had no issues with the car and it was perfect to get around the island. Unfortunately we added a new scratch to the car, but this was no problem at all since we got the full insurance. Before returning the car we went to a self service car wash, which was much appreciated by Sterling Rentals and we filled petrol to the same amount as when we got the car. It was our first time renting a car abroad and we had a great experience with Sterling Rentals! Highly recommended!
